1864 McClellan Portrait / Open Wreath and Shield. Fuld-142/347 f, DeWitt-GMcC 1864-38. Rarity-9. Silver. Plain Edge. MS-63 (PCGS).
18 mm. An attractive golden-gray piece, evenly toned over frosty to semi-reflective surfaces.  A few examples of this Fuld number has been offered over the last decade, it remains a notable rarity in silver. The present specimen will appeal to advanced Patriotic Civil War collectors as well as those with an interest in political and campaign pieces.
