The filed rims are as issued by the Stanton shop. I grade it MS-65 prooflike. A beautiful Gem from Steve Tanenbaum’s personal collection to Dave Bowers, probably the finest he had seen. A candidate for resubmission to PCGS with an explanation of the Stanton practice. Obverse die state: Perfect die. •

Reverse Die state: Crack from border through right side of  T (TO) to tree, through right side of tree, downward through 1st full star to right of trunk, through ray to top right bale, exiting below base of bottom bale, touching right side of 8 (1860) and continuing to border. Light crack from right side of tree to N (NORTH). Light horizontal crack over wheel of cannon. •
