A portrait of Franklin and vignettes of Archimedes and Ceres share space on this $10 from this early Florida bank. The territorial legislature overrode the governor’s veto and approved the bank’s charter on February 8, 1832, however it only remained in business until 1834. It was then rechartered as the Merchants & Planters Bank of Florida.
