Obsolete Currency……….Rare New Jersey Obsolete Kaighn’s Point, NJ- Kaighn & Stone 25¢ 1862 Wait UNL Remainder PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.
A rare note on a location and an issuer that I have never before seen, much less even offered. Both the location and the merchant are not listed in New Jersey’s Money by George W. Wait. It is quality piece of scrip printed in red and black ink on the back of fiscal paper. This example has two extra wide margins. Kaighn’s Point is in Camden County and this issuer was a dealer in flour, feed, and coal.  Probably unique!!!
