Records suggest that the war probably caused a change in occupations for Emanuel Semon, listed as a newspaper dealer at 36 Main Street in Richmond, according to Jones. By the time the 1866 Richmond City Directory was published, he is listed as a dry goods dealer located at 90 Main Steet, just down the block. This variety has a fancy geometric design left panel and a serial number space at bottom left. Signed and numbered. Very scarce.
