A scarce type, with only 43,732 notes of all varieties issued between September 14 and November 5, 1861. This is the “long tendrils / for printed before Treasurer and Register” variety. While it spent time in circulation, it survived the experience with PMG just adding its ubiquitous comment about thinning to its holder.
